Born Zoë Tapper on 26th October 1980, Bromley, Greater London, England. (She is also billed as Zoe Tapper.)
She has been an actress since 2003 and first came to prominence playing Nell Gwynne, in Richard Eyre's award-winning film Stage Beauty (2004).
Zoë has recently appeared as the Vampire Monster-Smiter Mina Harker, in the fated ITV1 series Demons (which will no longer run).
She has completed filming for The Grind - a story about the dark side of running an Eastend Nightclub and has filmed a crime drama - The Baseline - playing a character called Jessica, due for release sometime in 2010.
She has also filmed Desperate Romantics - a story in six parts shown on BBC2 and BBCHD in 2009, that follows the life and love affairs of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
She reprised her role as Dr Anya Raczynscki in the second series of the BBC Drama Survivors, which aired on UK TV during January\February 2010 - both Series in the US during Feb\April\May.
